The Eletre doesn’t offer automatic braking for stationary objects directly to the rear.

Both the Wagoneer S and the Eletre have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors, rear cross-path warning, driver alert monitors and available four-wheel drive.

Jeep’s powertrain warranty covers the Wagoneer S 2 years and 24,000 miles longer than Lotus covers the Eletre. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Eletre ends after only 3 years or 36,000 miles.

Jeep pays for scheduled maintenance on the Wagoneer S for 2 years and unlimited miles. Jeep will pay for tire rotations, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance (up to 2 visits). Lotus doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Eletre.

There are over 63 times as many Jeep dealers as there are Lotus dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Wagoneer S’ warranty.

Engine

The Wagoneer S’ optional electric motors produces 94 lbs.-ft. more torque (617 vs. 523) than the Eletre’s standard electric motors.

Tires and Wheels

The Wagoneer S has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Eletre doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

Chassis

The Wagoneer S is 8.5 inches shorter than the Eletre, making the Wagoneer S easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

Cargo Capacity

The Wagoneer S 4dr Sport Utility has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the Eletre with its rear seat up (30.6 vs. 24 cubic feet). The Wagoneer S 4dr Sport Utility has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat folded than the Eletre with its rear seat folded (61 vs. 54 cubic feet).

Towing

Standard Trailer Sway Control on the Wagoneer S uses the Electronic Stability Control sensors to detect trailer sway, then uses individual brakes to counteract any swaying and help keep the tow vehicle and trailer steady. The Eletre doesn’t offer electronic trailer sway control.

Ergonomics

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Wagoneer S to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. Heated windshield washer nozzles cost extra on the Eletre.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Wagoneer S has a standard rear wiper. The Eletre doesn’t offer a rear wiper.

To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the Wagoneer S has standard extendable sun visors. The Eletre doesn’t offer extendable visors.

The Wagoneer S’ standard rear and side view mirrors have an automatic dimming feature. These mirrors can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The Eletre has an automatic rear view mirror, but its side mirrors don’t dim.

The Wagoneer S offers an optional 115-volt a/c outlet on the center console, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The Eletre doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
