Dodge’s powertrain warranty covers the Charger 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Polestar covers the 4. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Polestar 4 ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

There are over 77 times as many Dodge dealers as there are Polestar dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Charger’s warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2024 Initial Quality Study of new car owners surveyed provide the statistics that show that Dodge vehicles are better in initial quality than Polestar vehicles. With 15 fewer problems per 100 vehicles, JD Power ranks Dodge higher than Polestar.

The Charger Daytona R/T Coupe’s standard electric motors produces 224 more horsepower (496 vs. 272) and 151 lbs.-ft. more torque (404 vs. 253) than the Polestar 4’s standard electric motor. The Charger Daytona Scat Pack Coupe’s standard electric motors produces 126 more horsepower (670 vs. 544) and 121 lbs.-ft. more torque (627 vs. 506) than the Polestar 4’s optional electric motors.

The Charger Daytona Scat Pack Coupe’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Polestar 4 Performance Pack’s 40 series tires.

The Charger has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.
